Grew up in Wheaton, IL. After high school, I worked one year as a Long Distance Telephone Operator, left AT&T to become the Principal's secretary at the Junior High School. Attended Wheaton College, went to Cornell College in Iowa, with the help of some friends, where I met my husband.
We moved to Boston where he attended Seminary. Our first church was in New Hampshire and we had our first child-a girl there. Four churches and 2 states later - we also had 3 boys. (Two were twins).
After 20 years in the ministry, my husband felt he should get his PhD and go into the teaching ministry. After he got his PhD, I went back to scool and finished a BA. I felt led in the same way to get my MA, and Phd. I then taught for 30 years at Graceland College (now University) and the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
My husband died of cancer in 1999. I am now retired, living in Sun City, AZ and beginning to write the 4th Edition of a Text that I wrote on Disease. I'm also trying to get an Internet Business started.
